Well I'm sorry I didn't call earlier to wish you Happy Holidays, well actually I don't like to impose too much of people but I trully must thank you for your support in many different ways, I'm trully grateful and also this message is a token of appreciation and hope to hear from you in the near future.

I personally will start by saying that this Christmas was the most heart touching moments of my entire 23 years and thanks to you and also Lisa. Greece is a wonderful place, especially the women but my father said I come back at the end of the year and stay forever. I just have to finish my studies at school. Well as for Yasmin she is the ideal mother figure, she's the most wonderful person I have ever met and she treats me very well, I like her very much. For my father, he is a wonderful individual, some times a little crazy but he likes me, as for my sister Maria, I like her very much, we spend a lot of time ding good things.
When I return to Greece I will come to Crete for a week so you could show me around and introduce me to a lovely woman, also I met one Marie from Crete. One more thing, you did not mention that I have brother and sister.

Sotis has been working as an Electronic Engineer on the Cruises ship "M/V Aida" from July 2000 until January 2001, and again from May 2002 until recently. His birthdate is December 25th, 1975. Query : Long story. He's my father, and I've been trying to track him down since 1996. In 1993, I was able to go through the Greek Consulate in Los Angeles. Six months later they sent me the address and phone number to his work place and a phone number to his home. Unfortunately I was too scared to use the information and didn't choose to until I went to Greece in the summer of 1996. Supposedly he was away on vacation, and I was too scared to leave word that I was looking for him. This search has been confidential for me because of the nature of the situation. I don't trust my relatives to help me so I have resorted to doing this myself. I haven't seen him since I was 9 years old, I am now 44. The company he works for is a well known Law-firm. I tried e-mailing the Law-Firm to find out if he still works there, and how I could reach him. No reply. I might try to be more direct with them ....

I remembered that my sister went to Greece with a man named Nikos Dimitri.She was last known as to be working in a club named the Athena.I don't know if that is in Greece or Athens.She left for Greece in 1985 as I was twelve years old then, I am now nearly twenty-nine years old. It has been a long time. I need to know if she is alive or possibly the worst. There is some important family news she needs to know immediately. Her brother commited suicide in November 1999, and we only got to bury him in October 2000. Also our mum has liver, heart and kidney disease and cancer of the bowels. Mum feels she has lost two of her children as we do not know where Tonia is, and how she is doing. Thanks for getting back to me. The name you mention Nikos Dimitriou sounds right. No my sister never wrote to us while she was in Greece/Athens. The name of the club that she did work at was named the Athena. I have tried to find her via the Salvation Army in England, but with no aveil. I must stress how I feel about my sister. I love her and miss her very much. Mum is always crying, as she feels that she has lost a daughter as well as her only son, whom we buried in October 2000, as he commited suicide in November 1999. We buried him with his stepfather (my real father) as my father had brought him up from the age of 15mths old.My father took on four children that was not his own.Then finally I came into this world. It is my mums wish, as she might not have long left to see Tonia before anything happens to her. It is my aim to do this for my mum also for myself as i love her dearly. She has a niece and a nephew. Her neice is 9yrs old, her nephew 4yrs old. They have never seen her. Please can you see what you can do for me we are desperate for help and answers to finding Tonia. Thank you once again
The name you mantion Nikos Dimitriou sounds right. I forgot to mention, he plays the Basooka,(is that the right spelling?). He travels around playing it, also came to England, Liverpool and was playing the Basooka in Greek resturants and clubs.Thats how my sister met him. Colud you confirm to me whether or not you get this e-mail, as I am desperate to find my sister, as it has been 17yrs now since I've seen her. And 14yrs since I've last spoke to her. Dear Solon, No there was no reason for Tonia not to communicate with us whatsoever. But after Tonia moved to Greece/Athens, we then moved house. I've made a note for you of all tha addresse's we have lived at since she's been gone. So you see it would of been hard for Tonia to even try and track us down as we live over the water from Liverpool, but it is still classed as Liverpool, Merseyside. There was no fight or arguement before Tonia left for Greece/Athens. Me and Tonia were very close as sisters growing up. Mum did resent her going to Greece/Athens with this man named Nikos Dimitriou as she hardly knew him and mum was worried that something could happen. My dad told my mum there was nothing she could do as Tonia was a growing woman, she had just turned 20yrs old. She did not send a postcard that I know of, and if she had we where not living there then, we had moved. So the last contact was in 1988 when I was 15yrs old and a friend that my mum worked for went to Greece/Athens and managed to get a phone number for her. I will be grateful for any information you can give.
Dear Solon, I would like to take this opportunity to thank-you from the bottom of my heart. My sister rang me on Friday 1st June. It was a shock to hear from her, but it was nice. I felt like I'd just won the English lottery. We are in touch now and I am planning a trip to Greece/Athens in the near future. She is in Athens as I had suspected. Query: I last heard from Athena from a post card she sent me in 1987 while she was visiting Japan. Athena Vigli went to school with me in 1980-81 at Art Center College of Design in Philadelphia. We studied cinematography together. She is Greek and at that time her family was from Patras. When she returned to Greece in 1981 she moved to Athens to try to start her career. Her family also had a summer home on the Greek Island of Patmos and they may still have that home. I know she has some brothers, but I do not know their names (except that their last name is Vigli). She may also have gotten married by now, so her last name may be different---but hopefully you can find her through her family name of Vigli. Perhaps she has moved to another part of Europe? I would like to contact her as she is a good old friend whom I would like to talk with. If you find her, it would be great if you could send me her phone and email address.
